Olaa Alsaedi is a senior Ph.D. student in Computer Science department at New Mexico State University. She received an M.S. in Software Engineering from University of Houston in 2013.  Her research focuses on simulations game design as training/learning tools. Her interest is center on zero-fidelity simulations which is a non-mimetic simulation focused on the abstract of human-centered aspects of practice.

Her dissertation research focuses on developing a zero-fidelity collaborative simulation game to train computer science students in improving their technical skills as well as nontechnical skills such as collaboration and communication efficiently as a team.
