James PopeJames Pope. Principal Academic at Bournemouth University (UK). His interests are: how digital media are changing narrative forms and reading and writing practices; the teaching of creative writing in digital media environments; children’s literature. As well as several publications around his research into readers’ reactions to digital fiction. James has also published six novels for children and teenagers. He is the director and co-founder of the annual international New Media Writing Prize.

James created the Genarrator software, a dedicated, accessible package for writing and publishing digital interactive stories.
